This Privacy Policy explains what information Model X Citizen ("we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Model X Citizen website, member sites, and related tools (the "Platform").

1. Information we collect

• Application information. When you apply, we collect your name, email, Instagram handle, portfolio or book link, home market/city, and the experience details you provide.
• Account and profile information. If you become a member, we collect the information you add to your profile, such as roles, location, bio, measurements, social links, representation history, and screen or press credits.
• Member content. Photos, video, and other media you upload to your portfolio and comp card.
• Booking inquiries. If a prospective client contacts you through your member site, we process the name, email, and message they submit in order to deliver it to you.
• Payment information. Paid memberships are handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers; the processor handles payment details directly.
• Usage data. We use privacy-first, cookieless web analytics to understand aggregate site traffic (for example, page views and general location at the country level). We do not use this to build advertising profiles of you.

2. How we use information

• To review applications and operate the invitation-only roster.
• To create, host, and display member sites and comp cards.
• To deliver booking inquiries from clients to the relevant member.
• To process memberships and send service-related messages (receipts, notices, security alerts).
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Platform.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Public information

A core purpose of the Platform is to publish a professional member site. Information you choose to include on your published profile (such as your name, portfolio, stats, and links) is public and may be indexed by search engines and appear in the curated directory. Do not publish anything you wish to keep private.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Platform, under agreements that limit their use of it, including:

• Hosting, storage, content delivery, and analytics (our cloud and CDN provider).
• Payment processing (for memberships).
• Email delivery (for transactional and account messages).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Cookies and local storage

We keep browser storage to a minimum. We use limited local storage or cookies that are necessary for the Platform to function (for example, keeping you signed in). Our analytics are designed to work without tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep application and account information for as long as needed to operate the Platform and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information as described below.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. Members can also edit or remove much of their profile information directly from their dashboard.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Platform is for professional talent aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. International users

We operate in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data-protection laws.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify members of material changes.
